Our Herd

The animals shown below all live on our farm but are not currently on our sales list. That can change, and if you see someone you are interested in, please feel free to inquire about his/her status.

Achilles - Date of Birth: 5/13/03.  Dark red gelding, sired by SP's Dexter. Nice fleece and super personality. Currently living with female herd - good gelding for small farm where you want company for one or two females.

Irma La Douce - Date of Birth: 8/9/00. This is a lovely white female, half Peruvian, with very soft, fine fleece. She has had one cria in 2004, a super little girl, Finale, with a fleece even nicer than her moms. Irma is a very doting and good mother, with lots of milk and maternal instinct. Co-owned with Bella Cria Alpacas.

SP's Finale's Peak - Date of Birth: 9/9/04. This is a lovely white daughter of Irma and our favorite Bronson son, McKinley's Peak. She looks alot like her dad did at her age. Very soft, crimpy, long-stapled fleece and correct conformation. Cute facial coverage, too! Co-owned with Bella Cria Alpacas.

SA Silhouette - Date of Birth: 2/24/89. This grand dam has produced many fine alpacas in her day, and is enjoying a life of leisure now. She has earned it! Lovely temperament and a joy to work with, she passed that temperament along to her crias. She is the mother of Amadeus and Riley, and the great-great-grandmother of Finale!

Rose Gray Vixen - Date of Birth: 10/28/96. A nice foundation female, with strong full Chilean bloodlines. Has produced mostly grey crias, and mostly female at that! Owned by Tom Martin of "Valley View Meadows".

Eleganza Grigia - Date of Birth: 1/13/99.  Daughter of Vixen, she is a doting mother herself. Also has produced mostly gray crias. Owned by Tom Martin of "Valley View Meadows".

Amadeus - Date of Birth: 8/13/99.  Impressive male, first crias on the ground. Great fiber - fine and dense with a lovely hand - coupled with a mellow personality and good conformation.  Black/grey, sire is Lanark's Jackson (grey) and dam is SA Silouette (black). Owned by Tom Martin of "Valley View Meadows".

Stoneridge Demetrius - Date of Birth: 12/15/92. This extraordinary densely fibered rose-gray huacaya male captures the charismatic qualities of his blue steel gray father Remington. He has strong foundation bloodlines on his maternal side (WoodsEdge Cinchona) as well. He continues to settle females with a single breeding! His progeny have all carried his density and conformation and been primarily females. Owned by Thomas Martin, Valley View Meadows

Lanark's Riley - Date of Birth: 11/19/91. This veteran black and silver grey was once on the cover of Alpacas Magazine. He is still an active breeder and even at his age has a fleece with a nice hand. His bloodlines are strong in black and grey, and he has a very nice temperament.
