Alpaca Trail Walk
Join us for a unique and memorable experience as you embark on walking an alpaca along our beautiful nature trail. As you stroll towards our serene, spring-fed creek, affectionately known as Camp Squirrel, you'll connect with these creatures and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. It's the perfect way unwind and appreciate nature!
The walk
A delightful nature walk geared for adults and children over 12 years old. Children under 12 are welcome to share an alpaca with an adult.
You'll have a unique opportunity walking alongside our friendly alpacas!
The scenic trail spans half a mile of flat and hilly terrain going past our charming Camp Squirrel. Don't forget to bring a lunch, as our trained alpacas can carry a small pack to the picnic area, making your adventure even more enjoyable! Experience the joy connecting with nature and these gentle creatures as you create lasting memories.
The Trail
Exciting half-mile trek through diverse terrains and enchanting wooded areas! As you lead our friendly alpacas, you'll discover the native trees that thrive in our region. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather so you can fully enjoy this immersive experience in nature. It's a perfect opportunity to connect with both the great outdoors and these lovable animals!
Camp Squirrel
Welcome to Camp Squirrel, where tranquility meets adventure! Nestled by a spring-fed creek, our peaceful picnic area invites you to relax and unwind. Step into the refreshing spring waters to hunt for hidden gems or simply relax in one of our hammocks and enjoy the beauty of nature all around you. Join us for a memorable escape that combines fun and serenity!
​​The Adventure:
The adventure starts at our farm store, you will learn about alpaca fleece and its uses, followed by a condensed version of our Hugs Tour where you will spend time with our fun group of alpacas. You will also learn how to safely halter and walk an alpaca.

The walk portion of the adventure is our "Alpaca Trail", and includes photo op. areas.

This whole adventure last approximately an hour and a half.

Pricing: $35.00 per person walking alpaca, $15.00 per additional person including 3-12 year old.

Alpacas are social animals, which it why we require a minimum of 2 alpacas for walks.
​
You must be 12 or older to walk your own alpaca.
Children under 12, must have an adult walk an alpaca and have control of the lead at all times.
Children under 3 are free.
Close toed shoes are required.
